Song Story
In 2006, I was given an opportunity to lead worship at a large conference with Mountain of Worship. One of the unique things about their conferences is that all of the music must be original (not by outside writers) and that it must be new (not 3 years old). It was a lot of fun because the band consists of many worship leaders from around the United States and overseas, and there was a lot of fresh material.
At this conference, I met Kelly Solomon and heard her lead her song, "Lover of My Heart." Of all of the new songs presented, I was impacted by this song the most. (In fact, this song ended up on the Lunch CD, which was recorded live at the conference.) Kelly Solomon is a wonderful worship writer, and I am sharing this song knowing that you'll be blessed by her music as well.
